History
Marina Bay was created through land reclamation starting in the 1970s. The area transformed from a shipping port into a integrated resort and business district. The Marina Bay Sands resort opened in 2010, becoming an instant icon and transforming Singapore's skyline.

Marina Bay Sands is an integrated resort with a hotel, casino, shopping mall, convention center, and theaters. The SkyPark on the 57th floor features the world's largest infinity pool (for hotel guests only) and an observation deck open to the public with panoramic city views.
Gardens by the Bay is a futuristic nature park spanning 101 hectares. The Supertree Grove features 18 vertical gardens ranging from 25 to 50 meters tall, with a skywalk connecting them. The Cloud Forest dome houses a 35-meter indoor waterfall and tropical highland plants. The Flower Dome is the largest columnless glasshouse in the world.
